Personal color analysis is the process of identifying the colors that naturally harmonize with your unique skin tone, eye color and natural hair color. By evaluating the three dimensions of your skin my trained eye can determine the specific seasonal tone that makes you look vibrant, healthy and effortlessly put together. When you wear colors that harmonize with you, people notice YOU before they see what you’re wearing.
What is a Personal Color Analysis?
Most of us have been guessing our whole lives— buying things becuase they are trendy, only to get home and wonder why they don’t look as good on you as it does on someone else. Color analysis takes the guesswork out and puts your natural beauty on display. It simplifies your wardrobe, saves you money on impulse buys that never get worn, and gives your a roadmap for everthing from clothing and makeup to hair color and accessories. More than that, it changes how you show up and allows you to be truly seen. The right colors brighten your complexion, soften shadows, and make you look and feel more condident without trying harder.
Why does it matter?
Not all color analysis systems are created equal. The traditional four-seasoned approach (Spring, Summer, Autum, Winter) is a good starting point but it’s broad and often leaves people feeling like they almost fit — but not quite. Thats why I use the PrismXII system, which is built on the 12- season method — three times more precice than the standard aproach. Each season is divided into three sub-seasons based on the three dimensions of color: hue, value, and chroma. Instead of being told you’re “an Autumn,” you’ll discover you’re a True Autumn, a Soft Autumn, or a Deep Autumn — with a palette that’s taylored exactly to you.
But the system is only as good as the person using it. I’m currently completing my certification training under PrismXII founder, Nikki Bogardaus, and lead trainer, Amanda Fairley. Nikki is passionate about continuing Kathryn Kalisz’s, founder of Sci/ART Golbal LLC, life work which means I’m being trained to the highest standard of color accuracy in the industry.
